Product Description
Zinc sulfate monohydrate is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula ZnSO4·H2O. Appearance: white fluid powder. Density 3.28g/cm3. It is soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, easily deliquescent in the air, and insoluble in acetone. It is prepared by the reaction of zinc oxide or zinc hydroxide and sulfuric acid. Used as a raw material for the production of other zinc salts; used for galvanizing cables and producing pure zinc by electrolysis, as a disease spray in fruit tree nurseries, and as a preservative for artificial fibers, wood and leather.
Zinc sulfate monohydrate has been widely used in feed additives, chemicals, national defense, fertilizers, mineral processing, pharmaceuticals, rubber, electronics, printing and dyeing agents, bone glue clarifiers and protective agents, electroplating, prevention of fruit tree diseases and insect pests and circulating cooling water treatment, viscose fiber and nylon fiber and other fields. It is the raw material for manufacturing zinc salt and zinc barium white. In the electrolysis industry, it is used for cable galvanizing and electrolytic pure zinc. It is also used in wood and leather preservatives and in the man-made fiber industry. Food grade used as nutritional supplement (zinc fortifier)
